NAET for Allergies: Harmful or Heplful
Allergy ReliefNAET is a technique developed by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad to treat allergies and sensitivities to metals. NAET practitioners view symptoms such as pain, addictions, PMS, inflammation and fever as undiagnosed allergies that serve as warning signs from our body that we are experiencing energy blockages, which need to be addressed before they turn into serious medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes or tumors.

In 1983 Dr Namburipad combined her knowledge of Western medicine, Chinese traditional medicine, Kinesiology, Chiropractic as well as Acupuncture and Acupressure to develop this technique designed to eliminate allergies in her patients. There are now over 9,000 medical and complementary health practitioners world wide who are trained in NAET.

Is it safe?

The method works over a period of time and does not make use of harsh chemicals, nor does it require injections. As such, it appears to be safe as a preventative or holistic approach to addressing the root cause of allergies. NAET is non-invasive and natural and can be used on children as well as adults and the elderly.

However, NAET cannot treat acute anaphylactic shock and does not replace the medical attention necessary in case of an emergency, such as anaphylactic shock. Rather it works as a method for addressing the root cause of an allergy so anaphylactic shock does not occur when the patient comes into contact with the substance they exhibited allergic symptoms to prior to successful treatment with NAET.
