EFT - Teach Yourself EFT Tapping for Free

teach yourself eft

Emotional Freedon Technique (EFT) is a healing modality that can be compared to Acupuncture without the use of needles. It involves tapping on specific points on the body (also known as meridian points in Chinese medicine) in order to release blockages.

EFT was founded by Gary Craig, a Stanford Engineer and ordained Minister of the Universal Church of God of South California. There is no need to subscribe to any belief system to practice EFT and it works regardless of the recipients belief system.

Symptoms that EFT has been reported to relieve include:
- ADD
- Pain
- Addictions (e.g. smoking and alcoholism)
- Migraines
- Allergies
- Anxiety
- Mild Depression
- Anger
- Trauma

According to Gary Craig, EFT has also been shown to increase the healing process of other therapies and is often used in combination with other therapies such as counselling, Jin Shin Jyutsu and traditional pain management modalities for example. This leads to the conclusion that EFT is helpful with symptoms that arise out of emotional traumas that a person has not released.

Basic EFT is straightforward and takes only a few minutes to learn. Of course, it is easier to get someone to help you to show you the tapping points. Check out the video embedded in this article for some pointers. There is no need to worry about getting the same amount of precision as you would need in acupuncture:  tapping the general area is sufficient.
