Accepting that each of the challenges we face in our lives are lessons we chose to learn in this life time is an incredibly empowering way of looking at our problems. Why? Because it means that we are not just passive bystanders in life, "doomed" to "accept our fate". We have free will and the choices we make are an integral
part of our healing process and our path to evolve into more enlightened beings.
Are You Ready for Change? So what are our options when we discover that we are facing a lesson and need to let go of old patterns to avoid having to repeat this lesson over and over again? The answer is that it depends on you - how you feel about letting go of your pain. Some people prefer to hold on to their pain, because they are afraid of the unknown.
To check whether you are resisting change, ask yourself: - What will fill that space if you lost that “story”? - Who would you be if what happened to you no longer defined you?
Preparing to Move Forward If you are ready to move on from the place you are in now but don't know how, the first thing that can be done is to embrace the idea of changing the way you perceive your challenges from a spiritual perspective. By opening yourself to the possibility of changing the way you see things, you are taking a huge first step to healing the hurt in your heart.
Forming Your Intention to Embrace Change When we form an intention we open ourselves up to divine guidance and help to get things moving in the right direction. You can formulate your intention in the form of a meditation or a blessing or simply by writing down an affirmation.
I like to use essential oils for my journey, because I find them to be energetically pure and they support my intention to bring healing into my life.
Divine Essence Healing Hurt of Heart is a wonderful blend of various organic essential oils that support spiritual growth from emotionally trying situations. It contains myrrh which helps in understanding our challenges from a spiritual perspective and captures the energetic healing qualities of Rose, Sandalwood, and Jasmine to overcome feelings of abandonment, trauma, worry and cynisim. Healing Hurt of Heart also contains essential oil of St John's Wort (a very rare oil), which helps with traumatic shock, depression and anxiety.
Meditation with Essential Oil Here is a meditation using the Healing Hurt of Heart oil blend to encourage understanding and resolution of emotional challenges on a spiritual level.
1- Find a quiet space, sit comfortably and focus on your breath, quieting your mind 2- Rub one drop of Healing Hurt of Heart into your palms 3- Inhale slowly several times 4- Place your hands on your solar plexus chakra and say the following out loud "In understanding my emotional challenges from a spiritual perspective, I grow in wisdom. I am ready to bring change to how I see my challenges so I can heal and move on."
Repeat steps 3 and 4 as often as you like until you are satisfied that you have embraced the intention in your heart as well as put it out into the universe.
Wishing you peace, joy and healing.
