A more intense method that promises accellerated detoxification using a combination of breathing, postures and heat is Bikram Yoga. But how healthy can it be to exercise for such a long time in a heated environment? Bikram Yoga :

Bikram Yoga also known as "hot yoga" is a relatively new branch of yoga named after its founder Bikram Choudhury and practiced in a room kept at a temperature of 40C.

According to The Center on Ageing Studies at the University of Missouri, as we age, our breathing tends to become more shallow,

| leading to poor oxygen supply to the body's organs, respiratory disease, sluggishness and heart disease.
Regular breathing exercises are therefore necessary to counteract this process.
