Embrace the Fool
April Fools Day has always been one of my favorite days of the year. It's the one day you're encouraged to be childishly creative, act like a fool and laugh at yourself.
Fools and children have much in common. The first card in the Rider Waite Tarot deck is "The Fool". It depicts a young man embarking on a journey with great optimism and a spring in his step. He carries practically no baggage with him and looks straight ahead, enjoying the scenery, not watching his step.

Like a child, the Fool is not concerned with the pitfalls along the way. He doesn't think everyone is out to get him. He sees, tastes and listens to everything with an open mind and no agenda.
This month, I encourage you to connect with the Fool in you: Try something new, buy some flowers and give them to a stranger in the street, laugh out loud in public, go to a playground and try the swings... You won't regret it!

Kids Yoga: The Best Cure For Boredom
Kids yoga not only adapts adult yoga poses to support physical strength, balance and co-ordination, it's also oodles of fun! Kids participate in non-competitive games that encourage their development into healthy, well-balanced adults.

The “tree game”, for example, teaches children mutual respect for one another. Other games help kids practice their ability to self-calm, listen and be patient. There is also anecdotal evidence that kids yoga has therapeutic benefits for serious conditions such as Autism or Lupus.

What is Kundalini Reiki? (by Elaine Grundy, Reiki Master & Life Coach)
Kundalini Reiki is quite different from the traditional Usui Reiki that originates from Japan. It originates from a Danish healer and meditator, Ole Gabrielsen.
In discussions with my mother, also a Reiki Master, she points out that 'Reiki' is a Japanese term for Universal Life Force and like many eastern terms (eg Kundalini meaning 'coiled' or Chakra meaning 'wheel') has become part of our healing language but this does not confine it to only its original source.

Kundalini Reiki seems to be the 'next generation' of energy healing as we continue to grow and evolve our abilities around our mental energies. Barbara Brennan says in 'Hands of Light', The mental energy field ... read more
